The Washington Homeschool Organization (WHO) is a statewide, non-profit organization headquartered in Kent.  Their "pink booklet" is a good starting place for families researching the possibility of homeschooling their children, and it is offered to all interested persons free for the asking.   Members receive a quarterly publication (WHO's News) and a discount on the WHO convention.
WHO's annual 3-day convention hosts guest speakers, a Curriculum and Learning Materials Exhibition, a Leadership Symposium, a variety of workshops, and a formal Graduation Ceremony for the "seniors".
WHO also offers an annual Student Exposition at the Warm Beach Conference Center in Stanwood each spring.  According to the WHOSE information packet "The Exposition is designed to give students a showcase in which to display their skills and talents, as well as an opportunity for interactive learning and association with other homeschooled students.  The event is intended to be an enjoyable experience for the whole family."
WHO Membership costs $25 per year.  For more information,
